I have been SO very busy… but do hope to get back in the habit of posting here soon! I am currently planning on doing my New Year’s Day Open House, so that will get me cooking up a storm.
In the meantime, I wanted to share this warning from Consumer Reports. It seems that Pyrex and other top American brands switched materials to one that is more sturdy when exposed to the bumps and bangs when they are being cleaned and put away at room temperature. However, changing the material may not have been the greatest idea. European companies still use the original material and those, along with old American Pyrex of the original material, stand up better in cooking situations.
